Orange Business Services Outlines Plans for Growth in Asia Pacific
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- IT business services provider Orange Business Services announced on Tuesday its plans to accelerate its growth in Asia Pacific by focusing on network enhancements, cloud computing, and strategic partnerships. Orange says that more than 800 enterprise customers in the region are already using its network backbone. According to the press release, the company aims to generate more than $1 billion in revenues in emerging countries in 2015. To meet this goal, it is adding customer-facing personnel to focus on opportunities, with a specific focus in China, India, and ASEAN. Orange has already added 200 new employees in 2011. Netcraft Web Server Survey Finds Large Growth of Amazon EC2 Sites
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web analytics firm Netcraft (www.netcraft.com) announced on Friday that it has seen a large increase the number of sites found by its Web Server Survey. According to the report, Netcraft's August 2011 Web Server Survey received responses from 463,000,317 sites. In July, that number was 357,292,065.
