Sex.com Domain Sold for $13M

Finally, the bidding war for famed sex.com has come to an end. According to reports from Informationweek, Clover Holdings has agreed to pay $13 million for the rights to the domain. The domain became available in July 2010 when the previous owner, Escom filed for bankruptcy.

Completion of the sale is expected to be finalized by late October. No details have been released yet on what the site will now feature, but I’m sure its safe to assume what the topic will be on.
