Intel Invests 5 Million in Cloud Management Software DynamicOps

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Intel's venture capital division, Intel Capital (www.intel.com/about/companyinfo/capital/index.htm) has contributed $5 million in funding to back cloud management provider DynamicOps (www.dynamicops.com).

The $5 million adds to the $11 million investment that DynamicsOps has already received from Sierra Ventures and partners.

DynamicOps' operations virtualization platform specifically enables users to automate and manage both private and public cloud environments, allowing them to perform such tasks as automating disaster recovery and managing virtual machine sprawl.
