Delimiter – $59.88/Year 256MB OpenVZ VPS in Netherlands Exclusive Offer
Giles from Delimiter/Yomura Holdings has sent me an exclusive offer for the LowEndBox readers. Here is the Ordering Link to “VPSLite 20″ in Amsterdam, and when you combine it with promo code LEBVPSLITE20 and annual payment, you can get that package for $59.88/year ($4.99/month). It comes with
- 256MB guaranteed/1GB burstable memory
- 20GB storage
- 200GB/month data transfer
- OpenVZ
Ordering link here. Looks like a reasonable offer if you are looking for a cheap VPS in Neitherlands. Delimiter has also come a long way since it is now part of Yomura Holdings, which owns dozens of web hosting brands around the world.

In Amsterdam we have two sites and 11 servers across the two sites. The guaranteed ram is not oversold and the burst ram is oversold at a 1.15:1 ratio. It is the lowest in the industry.
Customers can verify failed burst or guaranteed ram allocation by looking at the /proc/user_beancounters file, the last column shows any failed attempts.

The promotion was decided to be an on-going discount but due to a PEBCAK error it was not setup correctly

Difficult when the site’s in German, google toolbar translation is ropey.

@Omio — yes you are right. It is just a once time discount rather than recurring. Sorry I did not check properly and this offer should not have been here.

Guess that seals the deal then. Problems with their site, sales email not working, but they want a year up front? Yeah, right…

I would buy from them if they fixed their site problems and made their sales email work again.

I’d really think twice about prepaying like that. VPS hosts come and go. The domain was registered a little over a year ago. Not exactly a long-term business yet.
No mention of port speed either.

** One Time Discount: $24.00 USD, Not Recurring.
It seems they oversold their Amesterdam Node, as far my last check. I believe 1GB burstable is not work with the node. I hope some1 of their existing client will review that here.
** Recently their PayPal was suspended and blocked. They take paypal payment not as their company. I have found some broadband company name on that suspended paypal. And here they again come up with new paypal and inform that to their client :
“Some of you have old Paypal subscriptions running on your accounts for services that are already canceled or upgraded. Usually these payments end up as account credits on your account or some are rejected and refunded.
We have tried to identify customers whose accounts have invalid subscriptions and have canceled them in Paypal. If you receive a Paypal cancellation notice, please login to the client portal at http://clients.delimiter.us/ and then locate most recent unpaid invoice. On there you will be able to setup a fresh Paypal subscription.
BR, Anne”

Do they not offer monthly payments?
